What is included - Everything you need to make your stone set ring or pendant will be provided

In this introduction to bezel setting workshop, you will be taken through the steps to create a beautiful piece of jewellery featuring a semi-precious cabochon set in sterling silver.

During this full day workshop, we'll start by designing your piece, either a ring or pendant. First you’ll select your stone and work from there. This will be a simple setting, but completed to the highest standard, giving you all of the skills you need to continue making these on your own. On the day you'll be able to select your cabochon from our beautiful range of stones which is included in the price of the workshop.

You’ll learn to size the bezel needed for a stone, cut the right length of your bezel wall, saw out the backplate of the setting, solder a setting together, polish your piece, and finally set your stone to create your stunning, unique piece of jewellery.

Other information

If you need glasses for reading then we recommend you bring them on the day, and we also recommend wearing old clothes. You will need to wear closed toe shoes and tie up long hair. We do not have a strict age limit but please enquire before booking a class for anyone under the age of 16 to confirm that the workshop is suitable for children. All under 16s will need to be accompanied by a participating adult.

As tempting as it may be to have a tipple in some of our fabulous venues we request that you do not drink alcohol before or during the workshop for health and safety reasons. In doing so you will be asked to leave the workshop without a refund.
